Sanctuary Health has a permanent vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Specialist Support Officer to take on a full-time role in South East London.
The salary for this permanent Specialist Support Officer role is £24,600 per annum.
The role:
- The role of Specialist Support Officer is to take lead responsibility in the application of defined specialist interventions (e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Drugs & Alcohol).
- You will have responsibility to advise the teams on changes to best practice whilst keeping new legislation in consideration.
- This role will play a vital part of providing support to customers through a key-worker and or group work system.
- You will have the ability to carry out interview assessments, support planning and risk assessments for customers with low-medium support needs.
Requirements of the Specialist Support Officer:
- Recent experience within a similar role
- It is essential you hold a BSc. in the relevant fields and an obtained MSc.
- Experience within in a Mental Health setting (essential) Knowledge of specialist assessment tools, methods and case formulation.
- Knowledge of evidence based specialist interventions appropriate for community settings.
- Experience of undertaking customer assessments, support planning and key-working with a clear outcome focus
- Knowledge about recovery model, peer support and coproduction procedures.
- Experience working in community settings therapeutically, including assessments, designing interventions and demonstrating outcomes.
