Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in a Through Care Team based in Bristol. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- You will be expected to manage a caseload of children in care fulfilling the statutory requirements and care planning to help them achieve their goals and potential. Some of the work can be reactive and fast paced; you will need the skills to work, on occasion, in pressurised situations.
- You will need the ability to work on your own, be creative, respond to changing demands and be able to challenge.
- You will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to form and maintain relationships with children and their families.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
