Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker/Senior Practitioner to work full-time in Hertford in a Safeguarding Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker/Senior Practitioner job is £28-£32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 6-month contract.
Face to face inductions are taking place in the office and day 1 equipment being issued, then candidates will work from home. Candidates may need to visit the office on occasions.
Requirements of the Social Worker/Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Candidates will need to have experience in Court Work, Child Protection work and CiN work with families (longer term work rather than a history of only Assessment work
