Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Kingston, within an Older People and Physical Disabilities Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adults' services and be registered with the Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £30 - £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To carry a caseload including those where there are high levels of risk.
- To undertake Safeguarding inquiries and attend Safeguarding review meetings on occasions.
- To be responsible for undertaking and supporting a range of customers with non-complex needs under manager supervision.
- To be responsible for accepting referrals, undertaking and where required, providing, information and advice and carrying out initial assessments.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adults' services
- Previous experience working in a similar field is essential
