Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time based in Northampton, within the Learning Disability Team.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £30 - £32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Remote working options available in some teams. If remote working - laptop and phone to be collected from the office at the start of the assignment. If office based - full Covid-19 protection measures are in place. Most offices are working on a rota basis, however all offices are set up to be Covid safe.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Social Care qualified
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Experience in learning disability Social Work
  • Good references required
  • Be able to work with complex Learning-disabled people using a strengths a based approach and 3 conversation model
  • Understands adult social care legislation, Mental capacity act, experience in COP applications
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as independently, positive and proactive attitude
