Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time based in Walsall, within the Learning Disability Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £29.99 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Working outside of normal office hours will occasionally be required.
Duties:
- Carry out effective assessment, planning and delivery of social work services Adult services within the Learning disabilities Team, Walsall Council has responsibility for
- Provide high quality social work services to Adults with learning disabilities in need and their families in accordance with legal requirements, and departmental policies and procedures
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- A relevant professional qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent) and be registered as a Social Worker with the HCPC
- Be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of current legislation and have experience of working directly with Adults with Learning Disabilities and their families, in a social work setting
- Full, UK driving license and access to a vehicle
- Ability and willingness to travel from location to location
- Enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this post
