Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Bracknell Forest, within the Family Placement Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £31.87 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- To work as part of the family placement team. Primarily undertaking Special Guardianship and connected person assessments.
- To undertake other responsibilities as part of the team such as supervising social worker, duty, private fostering assessment and family finding.
- To work within the context of relevant legislation and will deliver services according to the Bracknell Forest's policies, procedures and guidelines.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
