Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Social Worker to work full-time based in Wakefield, within the Children in Care Service.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £35.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Adoption work and completion of Child Permanence reports
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Experience in child protection and care proceedings
- Experience of working with long-term child protection and assessment work
- Experience in completing, single assessments; risk assessments; s47 investigations; child protection planning; viability assessments; parenting assessments and court work both within the public and private sector
- Experience of adoption work and completion of Child Permanence reports
