Duties of the Children Social Worker include:

  • Assess and evaluate patients' mental health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive mental health support.
  • Advocate for patients' rights and needs, ensuring they are met within the hospital setting.
  • Provide psycho-social support, help to navigate complex procedures and challenging situations.
  • Liaise with patients' families and caregivers to educate them about the patient's condition and treatment plan.
  • Conduct risk assessments and make informed decisions to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
  • Maintain accurate records and report on patients' status and progress.

Requirements of the Children Social Worker include:

  • Possess a Social Work Degree or its equivalent.
  • Maintain current registration with Social Work England (SWE), showcasing your commitment to professional standards and ethical practice.
  • Previous Children Social Worker experience
