Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for a Social Worker with Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) status to fill a role in Birmingham.
The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker/AMHP job is £30per hour (Assignment Rate) and is an initial 3-Month contract.
Duties:
- You will be required to fulfil the statutory requirement as per the Care Act 2014, supporting vulnerable citizens of Birmingham, West Midlands with mental health supported needs.
- You will work in collaboration with health partners, to ensure a cohesive and joined up level of support is provided to this vulnerable group of citizens.
- You will also be responsible for holding a caseload, if you also hold an AMPH registered certification.
Requirements of the Social Worker/AMHP:
- Must be a qualified social worker and an AMHP with recent experience
- Excellent negotiation skills, as well as knowledge of the local area and its population
- You will be required to have high level experience working with this classification of client group, and have a good understanding of legislation in regards to mental health and have an AMPH registration
- You must be HCPC registered to be considered for this role
