Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Adults Social Worker to work full-time based in Beverley.
The pay rate for this locum Adults Social Worker job is £25 - £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 1-month contract.
Duties:
- Supporting the team to Review residential and community packages funded by East Riding of Yorkshire County using a strengths based approach to ensure that the care provided continues to meet people’s needs
- Support other teams across the Local Authority
- Supporting and enabling people and carers to actively stay well and independent, build and maintain family and social networks
- Supports the Safeguarding Adults Team and Deprivation of Liberty teams to protect people from harm
Requirements of the Adults Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Be able to work as an autonomous professional, demonstrating expert and effective practice in complex situations
- A wide range of experience across Adult Services including Care Act Assessments and Support Planning, Mental Capacity Assessment and Best Interest Decisions
- A working knowledge of both Safeguarding and DoLS legislation
- Experience working as a qualified social worker and experience of undertaking Care Act 2014 care and support assessments and completing care and support plans
