Duties:
- Work as a social worker within the Mental Health Care and Support Team, supporting adults with mental health needs
- Undertake social care assessments and reviews under the Care Act 2014 and hold a caseload of service users requiring complex case management
- Carry out direct work with service users to meet identified social care needs, carry out safeguarding investigations where required and develop strengths-based support plans to promote service users’ wellbeing and independence
Requirements of the Adults Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in Adults Services within the UK post ASYE
- Be able to work creatively with service users who have complex needs or are hard to engage
