Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work part-time within an Adults Intermediate Care Team based in Lambeth. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £25.64 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contracts.
The Intermediate Care is an integrated team working alongside NHS services to prevent service user's from being admitted into hospital and provide therapy to service users in the community.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Preferably hospital discharge experience, or other multidisciplinary team working experience. Candidates must have the ability to work under pressure, be competent in carrying a caseload working in a multi-disciplinary team, dealing with judicial reviews, have excellent working knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, safeguarding and other complex requirements that occur when dealing with service users and their families.
- A good working knowledge of MOSAIC would be an advantage.
