Duties:

  • Screening and information gathering on new safeguarding concerns in Adult social care
  • Contacting clients to gather information and signpost to local organisations
  • Carry out Care act assessments
  • Identify immediate risks and safeguard vulnerable adults
  • Work as part of a fast pace team supporting and signposting Westminster residents
  • Be accountable for decisions, risk assess and a make recommendations to support vulnerable adults

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to use mosaic database
  • Experience of working in Adult social care
  • Training on Safeguarding vulnerable adults - LEO
  • Willing to undergo background checks, including references and criminal records checks
  • Compliance with relevant legislation is essential
  • Be aware of our rigorous selection process, assessing suitability to work with vulnerable populations and commitment to safeguarding policies
  • Demonstrate commitment to safeguarding
