Duties:
- Screening and information gathering on new safeguarding concerns in Adult social care
- Contacting clients to gather information and signpost to local organisations
- Carry out Care act assessments
- Identify immediate risks and safeguard vulnerable adults
- Work as part of a fast pace team supporting and signposting Westminster residents
- Be accountable for decisions, risk assess and a make recommendations to support vulnerable adults
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced team
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to use mosaic database
- Experience of working in Adult social care
- Training on Safeguarding vulnerable adults - LEO
- Willing to undergo background checks, including references and criminal records checks
- Compliance with relevant legislation is essential
- Be aware of our rigorous selection process, assessing suitability to work with vulnerable populations and commitment to safeguarding policies
- Demonstrate commitment to safeguarding
