Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Social Worker within the Adult Mental Health Team to work full time based in Southend.

The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is up to £42,403 per annum.

Main duties:

  • Be an exemplar for high quality complex social work practice, leading through example in your communication style, knowledge, values and person-centred approach.
  • Promote critical reflection and participate in group work to ensure that the work environment is safe, responsive, flexible and emotionally capable.

  • Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders maintain effective relationships with stakeholders who are crucial to creating a better Southend, including General Practitioners (GPs), other primary care professionals, hospital staff and community leaders/groups relevant to the locality.

  • The successful candidate to ensure that confidential information, which is made available to the post holder in order that they are able to undertake their duties or is otherwise known to them, is kept confidential and secure at all times.

Requirements of this role:

  • Social work qualification with registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in managing social work caseloads and supervising others.
  • Experience of community and/or group work.
  • Knowledge of children’s health and social care systems, agencies, and relevant legislation.
