Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Work Senior Practitioner to work based in Tower Hamlets, within the Children and Families Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Work Senior Practitioner role is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 1-month contract.
Complete single assessments of parents and the potential risk to their child/children.
Work with parents with mental health issues, substance misuse and domestic violence.
Work with children and families with learning disabilities.
Undertake Child Protection and Child in need home visits.
Section 47 investigations, write court reports.
Carry out duty work, making referrals and assessments.
Prepare Child Protection conference report and Looked after child review reports, prepare court reports for care proceedings, and prepare care plans for children and young people.
Attend and participate in Child Protection conference and reviews, attend and participate in Looked after child review, and organise and chair core group meetings with other professionals.
Participate in Strategy meeting with other professionals.
Prepare and monitor and review care packages for looked after children.
Carry out viability assessment on prospective kinship carers.
Requirements of the Social Work Senior Practitioner:
Degree or equivalent in social work.
Current Social Work England registration.
Recent post-qualifying experience within frontline social work.
