Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award-winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Work Senior Practitioner to work full-time based in Hackney, within the Hospital Discharge and Assessment Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Work Senior Practitioner role is £30.99 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
The role involves an element of home working but some travel across the borough will be required.
Main Duties:
- Give significant oversight to manage through put from the Assessment Bed Units, and staff supervision including allocation and performance management.
- Re-emphasise a focus on people, their strengths and the networks and community around them.
- Work across Hackney in Assessment Bed Units using the discharge to assess (D2A) model.
Requirements of Social Work Senior Practitioner:
- Diploma or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- At least two years post qualifying experience within frontline adult social work, including in a hospital setting.
- Evidenced understanding of legislation, including No Recourse to Public Funds, and Continuing Healthcare.
- Evidenced continued professional development to ensure practice quality is constantly evolving.
