Team/Specialism: Deputy Team Manager - Hospital and Reablement Team

Pay Rate: £36 per hour (assignment rate)

Contract: Locum, 3-Months

Hours: Full-time

Main Duties:

  • Providing reflective supervision and support to social workers and social work assistants
  • Managing and prioritising allocations based on risk, need and urgency.
  • Support workers to produce strengths-based assessments that are reflective of the individual and their situation.
  • Work in partnership with health colleagues and other professionals to ensure individuals are not delayed in being discharged.
  • Managing the flow through all discharge services.
  • Managing and supporting a team and be able to address HR issues.
  • Supporting colleagues within a multidisciplinary service.
  • Problem Solving and managing Complex Cases and Risk Management
  • Complete audits to ensure team and individual quality assurance.

Requirements of the Deputy Team Manager:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Recent managerial experience, working as a TM, DTM or ATM etc.
  • Significant frontline experience in Adults Services
