Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Occupational Therapist to work in a Community Team based in Weston Super-Mare on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £24 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 4-month contract.
The service provides timely advice, information and triage of referrals received to adult care and community health services, in addition to community based DFG and OT Bathing clinics. Single Point of Access is recognised as critical in the delivery of effective, time sensitive services. A significant proportion of referrals are resolved at the point of contact through the provision of advice and guidance, signposting and the provision of equipment or minor adaptations
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within occupational therapies
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Car Driver
