Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a full-time Service Manager based in a Residential home in Dover.

The salary for this permanent Service Manager role is £36,000.

Main Duties:

  • This exciting new development will be home to four adults on the ground floor with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) requiring complex 24/7 care. You and your team will be supporting them to live as independently as possible in the community and support them to create their own home
  • On the first floor, there will be two one-bed flats, for those with more mild to moderate difficulties who are able, with support, to live more independently and will be separate from the ground floor support
  • You will have the amazing opportunity to be part of the setup, planning of the service and building a positive and dedicated team over the next few months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Have a genuine desire to help, develop and maintain high quality service provision for the people we support in this service appropriate to their assessed needs
  • Have the skills and commitment to coaching and developing a new team, with an emphasis on Practice Leadership to develop and align best practices
  • Understands the balance between keeping people safe and positive risk taking.
  • Has knowledge of the legal framework that apply in this service (e.g. DoLS, capacity and best interest requirements)
  • Qualification to NVQ level 3, QCE level 5 or be willing to obtain this.
  • Able to look at budgets and financial information to support the service remain financially viable
