Sanctuary Social Care has a permanent vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Senior Social Care Practitioner/Approved Mental Health Professional to work within an Adult Mental Health Team full-time in Oxford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The salary for this Permanent Social Care Practitioner role is £39,000 to £45,000 per annum.
Requirements of the Social Care Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Sound Care Act knowledge
- Understand Safeguarding s.42 and associated document Making Safeguarding personal
- Knowledge of models of mental disorder and MHA
- Know the MCA and best interests process
- Previous leadership experience
- AMHP experience but not essential
- Supervising others would be very helpful
