Position: Senior Radiographer – Cath Lab
Location: Marylebone
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Shift Pattern: 7.5 hour shifts between 08:00 am and 20:00 pm, with on-call requirements 1 in 3/4 weeks (including weekends)
Salary: £45,000 - £51,000 per annum (dependent upon experience)

Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a Senior Radiographer to join our client's Cardiac team at a prestigious medical facility in London. Renowned for its excellence in cardiac care, this clinic is currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

Operating within our specialist cardiac centre, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality diagnostic radiography services to our patients. The clinic offers a comprehensive range of treatment options, from screening and diagnosis to complex cardiac surgery and cardiology interventions, utilising cutting-edge medical technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in cardiology, radiology, and interventional vascular investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with Radiation Protection regulations and safety standards.
  • Act as a key resource within the Cardiac Radiography service, providing professional expertise in the Cardiac Catheter Lab Department.
  • Conduct a variety of standard and complex procedures in Cardiac and Vascular Radiography.
  • Independently perform procedures and support clinical decision-making processes.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot radiology equipment in the cardiology department.
  • Participate in the department's out-of-hours on-call rota.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration.
  • Extensive post-graduation experience in Cath Lab settings as a HCPC registered Radiographer.
  • Proficiency in clinical governance and protocols relevant to Cath Labs.
  • Experience in an Interventional Radiology suite is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Phillips and/or Siemens systems is advantageous.
