Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a TrustPilot score of 4.8/5 and over 500+ reviews is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Physiotherapist to work in Lancashire on a full-time basis (37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:00 am - 16:00 pm).

The salary for this permanent Senior Physiotherapist job is £41,669 per annum.

Duties:

  • Responsible for assessment of service user needs in relation particularly to optimising independence and physical function
  • Undertake comprehensive assessment of service users, using investigative and analytical skills to formulate individualised rehabilitation and treatment plans
  • Promote choice in all aspects of clinical practice reviewing and making suggestions to enhance the service user experience and enabling concerns and complaints to be raised freely by the service user and their representatives
  • Liaise and communicate with other health and social care professionals and volunteers in the planning and delivery of occupational therapy
  • Ensure appropriate prescription, provision and maintenance of equipment within available resources
  • Ensure that up-to-date written and electronic records are maintained in accordance with Professional and Charity standards, and that sensitive information is held securely
  • Share knowledge and expertise with other staff through formal and informal teaching
  • Lead on the localised training plan for staff to provide physiotherapy interventions as part of overall care
  • Facilitating the safe and smooth running of the Service, the post holder is expected to maintain a safe working environment, maintain service user confidentiality, and occasionally taking on reasonable additional tasks

Requirements of the Senior Physiotherapist:

  • Demonstrate clinical leadership and promote clinical supervision
  • Diploma/BSc Physiotherapy
  • Current and Valid Registration with Health & Care Professions Council
  • Current registration with professional body (e.g. CSP)
  • Member of specialist interest group (ACIPN or ACPOPC)
  • Previous experience in neuro rehabilitation
  • Use of evidence based practice and outcome measures
  • Highly specialist knowledge and application of physiotherapy assessments and interventions using complex level clinical reasoning
