The salary for this permanent Digital Pathology & Quality Manager job is £42,000 - £50,000 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • Collaborate with key partners to implement aspects of the digital strategy. This includes:
  • Development and maintenance of the scanning service
  • Training others on digital processes
  • Monitoring the quality of scanned reports
  • Ensure policy and procedural documents are established to meet accreditation requirements
  • Work closely with the Technical Services Manager to maintain the quality of client reports and provide support during inquiries and audits
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of a new Laboratory at St Ives.
  • Support the training program within the organization to enhance staff development.
  • Draft documents and reports, summarise issue statuses, evaluate outcomes, and provide progress reports to the Backlogs Management Team.

Requirements of the Digital Pathology & Quality Manager:

  • Possession of a postgraduate level qualification equivalent to an MSc in Cell Pathology
  • Active HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience in a diagnostic Cell Pathology laboratory
  • Exceptional communication skills
