Sanctuary Health are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse to take on a phone based role (Single Point of Access) based in York, Scarborough & Ripon. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rates for this Registered Mental Health Nurse job is £25.23 per hour (Assignment rate) depending on shift. 3 shifts per week 8am - 8pm (these can be in any pattern) - Entirely phone based, in office NOT home.
About the role:
They have introduced an all age, single point of access telephone number for local people to call in a mental health emergency.
With 15 crisis teams supporting children, adults and older people across the large geography of the Trust, the single point of access replaces individual team numbers, making it as simple as possible for people to access professional mental health support when they are most in need.
The phone line, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offers callers, including those with learning disabilities and/or autism, a series of options which will divert them to their local service.
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
NMC registration and a valid live pin
Recent UK Mental Health Nursing experience
