Sanctuary Personnel is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Recovery Navigator within our client's Dependency and Recovery Services.

About Our Client:

They are a social enterprise with charitable status, committed to empowering people to break free from the often interlinked cycles of crime and addiction, helping them to move forward with their lives. For over 30 years, they have been supporting people in building positive and productive lives, no matter their past. They believe that anyone is capable of lasting change.

Their services have supported thousands of people in making positive changes, helping them secure employment, reconnect with family and friends, and integrate into their communities. They deliver services as part of the Ministry of Justice's new probation system, providing flexible, responsive services to help break the cycle of reoffending.

Role and Team Overview:

As a Recovery Navigator, you will work within a hybrid model as part of a flexible, multi-disciplinary team, covering a cluster of community delivery sites. You will manage a diverse caseload of adult male prison leavers and those on community orders within the probation services, supporting them to implement their action plans and navigate their recovery journeys. This includes building trust, providing support, and signposting to relevant services.

Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, creating collaborative action plans, delivering structured one-to-one and group sessions (both in-person and virtual), and maintaining accurate records throughout.

Recovery Navigators are multi-skilled to provide a range of support and interventions across all complexity levels and must be able to work across London, providing flexibility and resilience against changing demand. Additionally, you will deliver services to enhance access to treatment and provide support for those with substance use disorders, which often co-occur with other mental illnesses and complex needs.

There is an opportunity for some Recovery Navigators to become subject matter experts (SMEs) in particular vulnerable groups or needs, such as BAME communities or chemsex, providing specialised support to colleagues across the team.
