Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager to fill a full-time role within Children's Service based in West Sussex, within the Fostering Team.
The salary for this permanent job is £45,180 - £48,399 per annum.
Duties:
- As a Practice Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of Supervising Social Workers to manage approximately 100 foster carers based in the south of the county.
- You will be responsible for undertaking a range of tasks including: chairing Foster Carer Annual Reviews, managing standards of care issues, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory policy and guidance.
Requirements:
- A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
- Registered on Social Work England.
- Management experience is essential.
- Must have working knowledge of the needs of children in care as well as the demands and pressures faced by foster carers and the teams that support them.
