Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager to work full-time within Children's Services in Waltham Forest. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Children Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Practice Manager job is £36-£38 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To lead 2 small Practice Support Groups operating as a social work unit of multi-disciplinary staff
- Supervise cases as part of fortnightly group supervision
- Provide individual supervision to a small number of social worker staff
- Support colleagues in the practice support group reporting to the Team Manager
- Accountable for ensuring the safety of the children and young people allocated to the practice support group
Requirements of the Practice Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Experience working in a similar role
