Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist to work within the Rapid Response Therapy Team based in Sandwell. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist job is £24.61 - £25.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- Provide holistic, patient-centred assessments, problem lists and treatment plans
- Facilitate safe and timely discharges back into the community
Requirements of the Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapist
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
- At least 2 years post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
- Previous NHS experience
- Car driver
- Experience in elderly care
- Experience of admission avoidance
- Knowledge of community services and discharge options
