Join one of the UK's leading Occupational Health organisations, dedicated to supporting the health and wellbeing of millions of employees nationwide. At our client's site in Devonport, Plymouth, we're seeking an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to bolster our team.

Role Overview

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the delivery of exceptional Occupational Health services. As part of our dynamic team, you'll have the chance to expand your expertise in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time permanent position, ideally requiring on-site presence five days a week, Monday - Friday. Working hours are flexible, between 07:30 am - 16:00 pm, Monday - Thursday and 07:30 am - 14:45 pm on Fridays, with the option for some flexibility in start and finish times. Hybrid working arrangements, including Fridays working from home, can be considered if necessary, facilitating TIMA physiotherapy assessments.

Part-time opportunities (32 hours) are available for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting accurate clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
  • Categorising musculoskeletal disorders based on work-relatedness.
  • Providing management with assessment reports, including fitness for work evaluations and recommendations for role adjustments.
  • Leading on-site exercise sessions for musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation.
  • Collaborating effectively with the broader occupational health team.
  • Performing DSE assessments and offering prophylactic advice.
  • Identifying workplace hazards and assessing associated risks to employees' musculoskeletal health.
  • Participating in ergonomic risk assessments with Safety, Health & Environment advisors.
  • Recommending necessary changes or equipment following DSE assessments.
  • Facilitating effective rehabilitation for staff with musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Maintaining comprehensive assessment and treatment records.
  • Collecting statistical data for report generation.
  • Contributing to and organising health promotion events.

Requirements

Skills:

  • Proficient in comprehensive assessments.
  • Experienced in conducting ergonomic assessments.
  • Skilled in conducting face-to-face and workstation assessments.
  • Competent in DSE assessments and report writing.
  • Capable of delivering workshops and promoting health.
  • Knowledgeable in musculoskeletal conditions, risk assessments, and IT.
  • Committed to patient confidentiality and GDPR compliance.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC registration.
