The salary for this permanent Theatre Practitioner/ODP job is up to £36,000 per annum + 4% shift allowance. 

Shift Pattern:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Saturday
  • 07:30 am - 18:00 pm; 10:00 am - 20:00 pm; 12:00 pm - 21:00 pm

Duties:

  • Deliver a consistently high standard of patient care utilising evidence-based practice
  • Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluation of all aspect of patient care
  • Prepare patients and aid with clinical/operative procedures
  • Participate fully as a team member, including working in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives

Requirements of the Theatre Practitioner/ODP:

  • Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified
  • Post graduate experience in Theatres
  • Current HCPC/NMC Registration
  • Anaesthetics experience
  • Completed anaesthetics course is ideal
