Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work based in Headington, within the Perinatal Team.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £27 per hour (assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
There is a rota each week for staff to work from the base and on the other non-base days, staff will be working remotely seeing patients in their homes.
Main Duties:
Work face to face with patients with some scope for agile working but looking for staff who are able to offer face to face support at short notice for emergency work.
Offer triage, assessment, and interventions for women with SMI from conception up to 24 months post birth.
Work with women with service depression/anxiety, bipolar, psychosis, complex presentations, monitoring risk to self and others, appointed staff will require a good understanding of safeguarding and ability to safety plan, work with carers as well and the women open to the services.
Partake in team meetings weekly to discuss clinical issues and also supervision within the team.
Work closely with maternity services, social care teams, GPs IPPS, OXPIP.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
Minimum two years post-qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
