The salary for this permanent Occupational Therapist job is £43,954 - £59,343 per annum.

Main Duties:

  • To work autonomously, managing a defined client group.
  • To carry out and record comprehensive assessment and treatment intervention as per legal and professional guidelines and standards and in accordancewith local policy.
  • To participate in staff and service development through attendance at service meetings and in-service training, including taking a lead in facilitating such events and presenting information as appropriate.
  • To actively influenceand participate inservice improvements andimprove and maintain quality standards.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current HCPC registration.
  • Evidence of CPD in accordance with HCPC and the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT)
  • Knowledge and understanding of application of the Occupational Therapy process, including assessments and interventions relevant to Learning Disability (LD) & Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
  • The ability to contribute the specialist skills of an Occupational Therapist to the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
