Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to work full-time based in Bridport. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £19 to £25.23 per hour (assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- To work across our ward and community therapy teams working with adults who have a variety of physical needs.
- To provide timely assessments within the Discharge to assess framework, provide equipment to facilitate independence and safety.
- To work within the MDT to support discharges and prevent hospital admissions.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Ideally have Ward & Community experience
