Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to work full-time within Romford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £26 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- Using current evidence-based therapy techniques, when based in the Accident and Emergency (A&E) setting, provide a thorough and rapid assessment, facilitating a quick and effective discharge home
- Engage with community services to create a seamless journey for patients from the A&E setting to home
- To deliver high-quality therapy care as part of a multi-professional service/team, within the accident and emergency and community setting working with patients towards rehabilitation, self-management and independence throughout the continuum of care
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous NHS experience
