Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to work in Worthing on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £30-£33 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- Completing clinical functional assessments, providing professional advice, rehabilitation in daily living, provision of equipment and recommendations for home adaptations to enable customers to live independently.
- Occupational Therapy staff also support families or friends who act as carers to facilitate care at home for someone with an impairment or disability.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Reablement experience
- Experience working within social care
