Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a TrustPilot score of 4.8/5 and over 500+ reviews is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Hygiene Technician to work in Bridgwater on a full-time basis.
The salary for this permanent Occupational Hygiene Technician job is £29,112 per annum (including travel allowance).
Shift Pattern:
- Monday - Friday: 7.5 Hours a day, 37.5 hours a week
- This role is a full time, permanent position, working 5 days a week (Monday - Friday), with a mixture of day and evening shifts
- The typical monthly working pattern will be 3 weeks of day shifts, followed by one week of 3pm till midnight shifts
Duties:
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary occupational health team, taking a self-motivated and proactive approach to your role, prioritising and managing your own workload
- Perform Occupational Hygiene monitoring and surveys of personnel and site activities for a range of chemical, physical and biological agents
- Participate in specific occupational hygiene related investigations and studies
- Carry out regular workplace inspection to assess occupational hygiene related aspects
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of training and information materials on occupational hygiene related topics
- Contribute to the occupational hygiene performance reports
Requirements of the Occupational Hygiene Technician:
- You may be a graduate with a STEM degree who ideally has some experience of industrial and/or construction environments, looking for your next challenge or to kickstart your career in the Occupational Health field
- Ideally you will be an affiliate member of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene (AFOH) and working towards the certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene (CertOH) – however full training can be provided
