Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a TrustPilot score of 4.8/5 and over 500+ reviews is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5 Team Leader (RMN/RNLD) to work in Guernsey on a full-time basis. Staff are required to work a shift system that offers support 24 hours a day. 

The salary for this permanent Team Leader job is £26,000 - £34,000 per annum (depending on experience).

Duties:

  • Working with a group of Support Workers - sorting care plans for a number of individuals who are in residential care or supported living
  • Maintaining the area using the active support model, this may include cleaning, shopping, washing ironing, cooking etc

Requirements of the Team Leader:

  • Must be registered with a professional body (NMC or HCPC)
  • An LD Nurse ideally, or someone with a MH background who has experience with LD  
  • This role is band 5 but if you have had exposure to leadership responsibilities that would be advantageous
  • Hold a driving licence and be prepared to drive service vehicles
  • Be able to co-ordinate and lead a team within the service, and also develop and implement programmes of care and support
  • Degree within nursing
  • Recent UK nursing experience
