Pharmacy Assistant Pay Rates: £12 - £15 per hour (assignment rate)
Location: Swansea
Contract Type: Locum, 3-months
Shift Pattern: Full time, some support for OOO/weekends/Bank Holidays required

Duties:
- Manning the pharmacy reception
- Assembly and dispensing of items against prescriptions and ward diaries
- Providing a pharmacy ward top-up service to allocated ward(s)
- Receiving stock from suppliers within the pharmacy store
- Assisting in the delivery and collection of pharmacy items to and from wards and departments
- Participate in rotas for bank holiday, weekend and extended hours working
- Complying with all relevant legislation, codes of practice, Health Board policies and procedures
Requirements of the Pharmacy Assistants:
- GPHC Registration
- Previous experience within a UK based Pharmacy setting
- Knowledge of procedures for pharmacy area, attained through on the job training, short course, and experience to Vocational Level 3
