Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking an Advanced Occupational Therapist specialising in Neurology to join our client's Occupational Therapy Team at a prestigious private healthcare facility in London Bridge.

The facility, renowned for its excellence in specialist cancer treatments, robotic surgeries, and stem cell transplantation, is currently rated as "Outstanding" by the CQC. Joining our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside world-renowned specialists in oncology and haematology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, providing high-quality Occupational Therapy services.

  • Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments for each patient.

  • Contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of Occupational Therapy services within the designated area, taking responsibility for defined projects.

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and implement treatment using a goal planning system.

  • Maintain accurate and concise treatment records detailing individual patient treatment plans and progress.

  • Provide leadership and support for junior staff through supervision and appraisal.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Neurology setting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the flexibility to adapt to departmental and service needs.

  • Continuous professional development in the field of Neurology/Rehabilitation/Occupational Therapy.

  • Experience in providing teaching to colleagues.
