Contract Type: Ongoing contract
Pay Rate: £21 - £27 per hour (assignment rate)

Requirements of the Acute/Elderly Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent NHS experience
- Registered with the HCPC
- Experience working in Acute Assessment or Emergency Department with frail and elderly patients
- Familiar with the assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical, cognitive, and psychological health conditions within elderly and medical specialities
- Confident in the assessment and treatment of patients presenting with common pathologies, including dementia, delirium and falls
- Familiar with relevant cognitive assessments to inform treatment planning and intervention in the acute setting
