Duties:
- There is an element of service development to the role as well as helping out the NHS
- Discharge planning
- Cognitive assessment
- Frailty ortho and trauma
Requirements of the Acute/Private Wing Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
- Recent NHS experience
- Registered with the HCPC
- An experienced and energetic individual to work within the Private wing and to cover NHS wards
- This role is suitable for someone that has worked in different specialist areas as a band 6 to provide acute assessment, private and NHS discharge planning, general acute rehabilitation
- The ability to work within a team of 3 and be able to adapt to the needs
- Experience in EDAM, med rehab
- RCOT
- Private experience
- Experience in ICU/neuro
