The salary for this permanent Mental Health Occupational Therapist job is £28,407 - £34,581 per annum.

Duties:

  • Provide support in assessing functional ability in activities of daily living through PADL assessments, cooking assessments, public transport use
  • Support in assessing risks of falls and support with mobility issues that an individual may have
  • Offer a wide range of therapeutic activities and plan for interventions specific to the needs of the patient population
  • Report on patient progress and provide feedback of interventions within the multi-displinary team and to external stakeholders i.e. commisioners and care-coordinators

Requirements of the Mental Health Occupational Therapist:

  • HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
  • Understanding of Mental Health
  • Willing to undertake a DBS check
  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
  • Previous UK Occupational Therapy experience
