Job Title: Long Term Care Nurse (RGN)
Location: Bermuda
Type: Permanent
Shift Pattern: 35 hours per week, including weekends and public holidays
Salary: £62,000 - £78,000 per annum

We are currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join a dynamic healthcare team at a leading Acute Care Facility in Bermuda. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care, ranging from simple to complex cases, within the Long Term Care unit. 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care, adhering to the Medical plan of care and performing dependent functions.
  • Utilise the nursing process to develop comprehensive care plans for assigned patients.
  • Act as a patient advocate, facilitating communication between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Initiate and actively participate in patient care conferences.
  • Efficiently use clinical, hospital, and community resources.
  • Safely and economically utilise equipment and supplies.
  • Provide guidance to and collaborate with other nursing personnel.
  • Assume in-charge duties as required.

Qualifications & Registration:

  • Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration as mandated by the Bermuda Nursing Council.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Hold current certifications in CPR and I.V.
  • Essential experience in Physical assessment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and clinical competencies.
