Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Independant Chairperson to work full-time in Stafford, within the Child Protection Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Independant Chairperson job is £39.07 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To take a lead role in drawing up the performance management agenda on behalf of vulnerable children. assist in the induction of New staff within the service.
- To take a lead role in promoting the principle of working in partnership with parents and other agencies.
- To deliver Training to Partners on the Role of the Safeguarding and Review Service, good practice and developments with respect to Safeguarding.
- To Ensure that there is clear feedback and interface with internal and External partners, developing policy change
- To maximise the involvement of children and their carers in planning and review processes.
Requirements of the Independant Chairperson:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
