Team/Specialism: Fostering Assessment

Pay Rate: £30.57 per hour (assignment rate)

Contract: Locum, 3-Months

Hours: Full-time. There is a current expectation to work in the office two days a week, one of which is a Wednesday.

Duties:

  • Work closely with colleagues across child care area teams, legal representatives, the court and other professionals involved with the child and the career
  • Supporting with duty and duty tasks including face to face reg 24 duty visits

Requirements of the Fostering Assessment Senior Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • Experience of completing connected persons and special guardianship assessments
  • Experience of safe guarding, care planning and knowledge of fostering regulation and minimum standards
