Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract

Dietitian Pay Rate: £25 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties of the Dietitian:

  • Using specialist knowledge of mental health and physical functioning, you will provide all aspects of specialist nutritional or dietetic advice, treatment and support to service users taking into account their mental, psychological, emotional and physical needs.
  • You will deliver an age inclusive service for adults of working age and older adults in mental health services and will deliver interventions in accordance with the Trust Eating Disorder Pathways.
  • You will have responsibility as a specialist practitioner with a high degree of autonomy for planning and delivering treatment of service users on your own caseload.
  • Working as a member of multidisciplinary teams contributing to treatment and speciality care plans, you will act as a source of expertise on dietetic/nutritional management to service users, carers, and other health care professionals in a variety of settings including Trust premises and community locations.
  • You will participate in peer group supervision and support, contribute to the training, supervision and support of other colleagues and students and you may lead clinical audit or undertake research.

Requirements of the Dietitian:

  • Degree or equivalent in dietetics
  • Recent UK experience working as an Dietitian
  • Registered with the HCPC to work in the UK
