Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Consultant Social Work Manager to work full-time within a MASH Team based in Slough. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £40 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Reviewing and decision making on cases in line with Legislation and Policies
- Chairing strategy meetings
- Involved in improving services delivery
- Supervising social workers
- Completing investigations regarding performance of staff
- Identifying and reporting on key performance indicators to improve service delivered to families
- Charing MASH meetings with partner agencies
- Liaising with partner local authorities to assist in improvement of MASH
- Working with partner agencies to improve referral process and supporting partner agencies to understanding the importance of applying threshold and working in partnership with families.
- Managing out of hours visits and providing direction during crisis for children on a CP plan or in Court Proceedings
- Line managing and writing reports for ASYE social worker
- Supervise staff- Social workers and Family Support work.
Requirements of the Consultant Social Work Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Managerial experience
