Sanctuary Personnel, a committed and competitive recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Community Mental Health Nurse (CPN) to work based in Banbury, within the Older Adult Team.

The pay rate for this locum role is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.

Working Hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week.
  • 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
  • May be occasions once every three weeks where staff need to work until 8pm when it is the team’s turn to offer the county cover.

Main Duties:

  • Work within the Older Adult Mental Health Team, providing mental health assessment and treatment in the community for patients with mental health needs identified within Cluster 4-21, supporting patients to work towards their own recovery.
  • Act as CPA Care Coordinator for a defined case load and undertake Duty and Memory Clinic assessments.
  • Provide home treatment for patients experiencing a mental health crisis.

Requirements of the Community Mental Health Nurse:

  • Valid NMC registration under Mental Health.
  • Previous experience working as a CPN, including mental health community experience within the older aged sector.
  • A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained).
  • Available to start as soon as possible.
