Sanctuary Health is currently looking for a dedicated Band 8a Clinical Psychologist to work full-time based in Berkshire.
The pay rate for this locum Psychologist job is £33 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract. This role is mostly remote working however they will need to attend face to face multidisciplinary clinics on some Wednesday afternoons (Potentially every 2 weeks).
Job Summary:
- Provide specialist psychological assessment for patients under the care of the relevant RBH Services.
- Provide specialist psychological intervention to patients under the care of these RBH services, focusing on issues around management, coping and adjustment, with a view to: optimising helpful coping, psychological well-being, self-management and health related quality of life, managing symptoms including pain and fatigue; reducing patient distress and to provide psychological support to family members/carers.
- Contribute to service evaluation, audit and development in line with service level agreements and BHFT policy and National agendas.
Requirements of the Psychologist:
- To be eligible for this role you must be an HCPC registered psychologist
- To have a relevant qualification and recent experience is essential.
